HASCO Coaxial RF Terminations | DC to 110 GHz, Up to 100 W
Complete Coaxial Termination Series from DC to 110 GHz
Terminate unused RF ports with low-reflection 50-ohm loads across precision millimeter-wave, microwave, blind-mate and higher-power coaxial interfaces.
Close unused ports with the correct matched load.
An unterminated port reflects energy back into the network. A properly selected termination presents a nominal 50-ohm load and dissipates incident power while minimizing the reflection that can disturb measurements, isolation, gain, stability and system performance.
Control reflections
Terminate unused ports on switches, couplers, dividers, circulators and test fixtures.
Protect RF hardware
Provide a defined load where reflected energy could impair an amplifier or other active stage.
Stabilize measurements
Maintain repeatable boundary conditions in VNA, production and subsystem testing.
Dissipate power safely
Match average, peak and thermal-derating requirements to the actual signal environment.
Select by connector, frequency and dissipated power.
Maximum frequency and power do not occur in the same model. Precision 1.0 mm loads extend to 110 GHz at 1 W, while Type N heat-sink loads reach 100 W at lower microwave frequencies.

Selection note: frequency, VSWR and power ratings are model-specific. Apply the published thermal derating and peak-power duty-cycle limits for the selected termination.
Specify more than connector and wattage.
Frequency and VSWR
Verify maximum VSWR across the complete operating band, not only at the lowest frequency.
Average and peak power
Check CW dissipation plus pulse width, duty cycle and mismatch conditions.
Thermal environment
Derate for ambient temperature, airflow, mounting and adjacent heat sources.
Mating and mechanics
Confirm gender, torque, durability, blind-mate style, chain or fixed-thread requirements.
Select the load around the port and the energy it must absorb.
Confirm connector series, gender and mating requirements.
Match frequency, VSWR, average power and pulse conditions.
Check current inventory and project delivery requirements.
