Known signal reduction

Control amplitude without changing the signal-path architecture.

A fixed attenuator inserts a defined loss between two 50-ohm ports. Select the RF interface and operating band first, then confirm attenuation accuracy, VSWR, average and peak power, temperature derating and mechanical clearance.

01

Protect instruments

Reduce input power before power meters, receivers, detectors and other sensitive ports.

02

Set test levels

Establish repeatable signal levels in benches, fixtures and production test systems.

03

Improve source/load match

Add controlled loss to reduce the mismatch interaction seen by adjacent RF components.

04

Extend dynamic range

Bring higher signal levels into the usable measurement range of test equipment.

Complete coaxial series

Five interfaces cover general-purpose RF through 65 GHz.

Series ratings shown below are family-level selection values. Available dB increments and exact electrical limits vary by model; use the individual product datasheet for final design verification.
