Waveguide-to-Coax Adapters from L through E Band
Transition rectangular waveguide to standard coaxial interfaces with band-matched WR sizes, flange patterns and connectors from Type N through precision 1.0 mm.
Band name alone is not enough.
Waveguide bands overlap and naming conventions vary. Start with the exact operating range, then confirm WR size, flange, connector, orientation, VSWR, insertion loss and power requirements.
Operating frequency
Use the adapter's published frequency range, not only the general band designation.
WR size and flange
Verify aperture size, flange series, bolt pattern, alignment features and mating surface.
Coax interface
Choose Type N, SMA, 2.92 mm, 1.85 mm or 1.0 mm around frequency and system compatibility.
Mechanical orientation
Right-angle and end-launch layouts place the coax connector differently inside the assembly.

These seven products provide practical reference points across the range. The WR-430 selection spans upper L-band into low S-band; use the published 1.7-2.6 GHz range when determining compatibility.

Band overlap: V and E band selections overlap from 60 to 75 GHz, but WR-15 and WR-12 are not mechanically interchangeable. Select the WR size and flange already used by the system.
